Objets Portes explores the expressive potential of everyday objects through light, texture and material. Removed from their intended function, familiar items are photographed as if they were portraits, allowing surface, form and gesture to become the primary subject. Developed as an ongoing personal study, the series considers how photography can transform ordinary materials into something tactile, sculptural and quietly human.
